Yup. Virginia is gone. If we could get D.C. to annex the eight northern counties and the detritus from the Fedgov things might improve but not otherwise. We’re looking to move out as soon as work permits.
As massive as Detroit was it was a one industry town. NYC is not a one industry town. Manhattan might be, but that’s where NYC’s complexity comes in. The Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, they’ve all got their own industries going on.

This is exactly the type of thinking that will impede recovery
