Around 100 people have attended an anti-RTÉ protest on the grounds of the organization in Dublin.
The crowd gathered outside the entrance to RTÉ in Donnybrook, before making their way through the barriers to the main TV reception.
A number of people made speeches, including activist Gemma ODoherty, as some members of the crowd banged on the glass. [ ]
The protest heard calls against the use of face coverings, the gardaí and the Governments response to COVID-19.
The crowd also heard speeches criticizing the arrest of Ms. ODoherty in Co(unty) Wicklow yesterday. Fellow activist John Waters was also in attendance this afternoon.

Donnybrook chuckles.
The name is an Anglicization of “Domhnach Broc”, which properly translates as “St. Broc’s Church”, although Google Translate (at the time of writing) renders it “Badger Sunday”.
I wonder if there is a pitcher’s mound there.
Makes me think of the movie Quiet Man.
That term came from the Donnybrook Fair that was held there for about 600 years and was notorious for brawls.
Yeah, I know. The phrase “it turned into a real Donnybrook” means a massive brawl broke out. Just like in that last scene of Blazing Saddles.
I wish there were some people really fighting against the COVID restrictions.
i lived there in 1990.
