I don’t know why a cheap, inexpensive small aircraft was not developed and mass produced years ago. If I could afford it, I’d buy one.

When I look what they did to GA or general aviation in the past 50+ years, it’s disgusting. One has to be wealthy to even store, insure, buy a small aircraft today. Even a small Cessna is way beyond affordable for most Americans. That flat out sucks in my opinion.

government does not want regular people flying vehicles wherever they want to go

thars why

they’ve spent the last few decades doing what they can to decrease small airplane traffic

You can pick up a small aircraft for the price of a new pickup. We can argue whether the pickup is affordable; but, the price differential has certainly shrunk.

If you have spent anytime driving the roads of America you really already know the answer. Morons on the ground are one thing, in the air over homes and utility lines? I don't think so.
