In the video he said he always acted legally, including buying his own baseball tickets. He claimed he never asked for a quid pro quo for a campaign donation nor did he threaten anyone. He said the charges for which he stood trial were false and that the prosecutors and/or judges were corrupt. He was put in the general population with serious felons. He estimated that only about 2% of them were white collar criminals. These weren't his words, but the rest of them were the "Group W" mentioned in Alice's Restaurant: mother-rapers, father-stabbers, father-rapers, etc.
He comes across as very likable, and I want to believe him. I guess I have to lean on POTUS -- I'm sure Rod's case was thoroughly checked out before President Trump commuted his sentence.
I have to agree with you there Rod Blagojevich does come across as likable. Yes I like to believe him and it’s very likely it was a hit job given the state he was in
