I don’t hear much about this in the news, but anecdotally all my friends and acquaintances who have been working remotely have also told me how much money they’re saving from not going out for lunch every day, entertaining clients,commuting and wardrobe! Six months of savings, and no place to spend the money lol. So I’m guessing big ticket items will eat some of those funds up.
I’ve done some home improvements with the money I’ve been saving.
try going to a homedepot or lowes these days: the places are PACKED and the lines to checkout are a mile long ...
