I watched the press conference this afternoon with the Kenosha police guy. He said this shooter wanted to be deputized.

What a mess this is. It’s due to terrible leadership. Guy even admitted he did not summon the National Guard correctly.

I watched the press conference too. Kenosha sheriff talked about how he had knelt down with the protesters in the past. I thought he was horrible. He was proud of his community for moving their cars out of the way of the protesters and for hiding in their houses.

He said this shooter wanted to be deputized.

At one point the police officers in one of the armored vehicles tossed out water bottles to some of the armed young men at the location where the shooting happened. The police were very friendly with the armed citizens.

That interaction was recorded on one of the live streams, although that streamer has now removed public access to the videos.

Kid’s not going to be convicted of any kind of murder in Kenosha Co., which is mostly represented by Republicans in the state legislature, especially because this whole thing is rapidly becoming a legal clusterf**k, just like the Twin Peaks mass shooting in TX a few years ago where, in spite of ten dead, there were no convictions.
