I'm glad I already had seeds to plant at the beginning of the pandemic when some states banned the sale of seeds and transplants. Planning my Fall Garden planting now.

How many gardeners are willing to kill to protect their zucchini from swarms of two legged locusts who are there either because they are hungry or just to destroy what you have to promote anarchy and dependence on the government. And what if those locusts have uniforms and badges?

Wait until the truckers refuse to make deliveries into the ‘war zones’ of Portland, Seattle, Chicago, Minneapolis, Milwaukee, and on and on and on...
Then we’ll know what a real food shortage looks like.

I'm pretty set for seed except onion seeds and I'll be ordering those soon.

I put in straw bale gardens this year. Hoping to do some hard core canning pretty soon...

I'm kind of a compulsive seed collector. That seed stash was very reassuring when the shortages started.
I even had some picked out ready to share in case my neighbors couldn't find seeds to plant. But the seed and seedling shortages never quite reached this area.
Still, this is the only year that no one in my family made fun of me for my gardening obsession. Just the opposite! My parents planted a big garden in the backyard, and when the tomatoes started ripening they asked me for canning advice.

I’m worried Democrats will use starvation as their ‘October Surprise’...
It’s a heavy handed commie tactic... but so is the violent rioting. If our side has a 30 day supply of food, we can stop any panic they try to create... and we’ll put less pressure on food supply chains..

I had some fall seeds but there is a shortage here in Atlanta. I’m moving ahead with collards, mustard greens, potatoes and carrots but I guess I’ll have to buy brocalli, cabbage and Swiss chard seedlings at Home Depot instead of seeds this year.
