She was not sick from it and never needed any medical treatment for it.
she may not have been sick as a carrier, but I guarantee you that the nurses and staff took extra precautions to avoid being infected. MRSA is no joke, especially if it gets into the lungs. In the least case it will mean increased healing time for even the smallest scratch.
