High pitched vocals set my tinnitus in motion. Whitney Houston’s voice to me on any song is similar to nails on a chalk board. I hear these songs in hotel lobbies (when I traveled), supermarkets, etc. Public places. It can be irritating to the point of frustration.

Can kind of understand, although for the normal verses, the notes are no higher than “high” C (which isn’t very high).

Yes, she does pull some antics that can twirl through really high things, but most of the lingering stuff isn’t that high.
