What is Convalescent Plasma?
Convalescent refers to anyone recovering from a disease. Plasma is the yellow, liquid part of blood that contains antibodies. Antibodies are proteins made by the body in response to infections. Convalescent plasma from patients who have already recovered from coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) may contain antibodies against COVID-19. Giving this convalescent plasma to hospitalized people currently fighting COVID-19 may help them recover. FDA has issued an emergency use authorization for convalescent plasma to be used in hospitalized COVID-19 patients and is being investigated for the treatment of COVID-19 because there is no approved treatment for this disease. Based on scientific evidence available, the FDA concluded this product may be effective in treating COVID-19 and that the known and potential benefits of the product outweigh the known and potential risks of the product in hospitalized COVID-19 patients.

Donate Blood and Plasma to Make a Difference
People who have fully recovered from COVID-19 for at least two weeks are encouraged to consider donating plasma, which may help save the lives of other patients. COVID-19 convalescent plasma must only be collected from recovered individuals if they are eligible to donate blood. Individuals must have had a prior diagnosis of COVID-19 documented by a laboratory test and meet other donor qualifications. Individuals must have complete resolution of symptoms for at least 14 days prior to donation. A negative lab test for active COVID-19 disease is not necessary to qualify for donation.

How often can I donate plasma?

To ensure your continued health and safety during plasma donation, there are limits to how frequently you are able to donate.
You may donate twice in a seven-day period and need at least one day in between donations. Your body quickly replaces the lost plasma, which is why you’re able to donate fairly frequently! As a reminder, during plasma donations, we only take your plasma. Your red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets are all returned back to your body. In whole blood donations, ALL of these blood components are taken and donated - plasma, red and white blood cells, and platelets. That is why with whole blood donations, you must wait longer between donations.
Would like to have some on hand so Wife or I could start taking immediately if we have symptoms.
Where I live it takes 5-7 days to get the results after testing.

Sheesh! These people are beyond deranged. Millions of the people they want to bankrupt would be potential RAT voters, working in restaurants, service industries, airlines etc. ... not to mention minorities who hold the kinds of jobs you cannot do remotely.
The RATS have so seriously overplayed their hand on this, not to mention the RIOTS they ENDORSE, and their trying to keep schools closed, that I see the Avatar's campaign as a complete basket case.
The only danger, I believe, is people splitting their votes, going for Trump as POTUS but failing to understand the House and Senate MUST BE WITH HIM TOO. I would like to see the President start educating his supporters about this, as the electorate has a history of splitting power ... kind of a "Compromise" thing ... and that would be most unfortunate.
