Ever since the Clinesmith plea deal broke, Peter Strzok and Andrew Weissman (Clinesmith’s direct boss) have been tweeting furiously, trying to spin it as 1) totally political on Barr’s part and 2) legally weak.
Their tweets are at teen-girl-level of emotion and their “arguments” are full of internal contradictions. It’s obvious they are TERRIFIED of what Clinesmith is spilling to prosecutors. They know he’s a weak link – someone who knows everything about the big picture conspiracy but is past being controlled and has already got a sweetheart deal.
It’s delightful, really.

It's true though LOL - the best part was Weissman going on and on tweeting about how the charge was wrong because reasons (op was counterintel not FARA) and immediately a tweeter on our side posted the doc that was recently declassified that proved him wrong: it was indeed FARA.
OOOPS. He clearly isn't keep ing up with the declas and has NO idea how much we all know.
