Airborne means it travels in droplets smaller than 5um. There’s some limited evidence suggesting that SARS-CoV-2 could spread that way (just like there’s some evidence it could spread via fomites), but all current evidence points to respiratory droplets (which are >5-10um) being the primary transmission vector.
There’s a fair amount of evidence it’s transmitted by “solid bodily waste” left on people’s hands when they don’t wash properly, and then they leave traces of it on doorknobs, stair banisters, etc.
