In Qanon world, critics such as the author of the NBC article mash remarks from followers with remarks from Q, and attribute every nutty thought expressed to "Q." It would be like attributing every remark in this thread to me.

I don’t play them either. I understand it refers to people assuming roles in online games such as Dungeons and Dragons (only more up to date). Basically, it’s some pimply kid sitting in mom’s basement playing games.
