It will end poorly. While auto assisted trucks could be useful, in terms of providing efficiencies and allowing drivers to work a full 14 hours days, I do not believe they can fully replace drivers.

It is coming.
It is the speed of change that causes the problems.
There is a huge shortage of long distance truck drivers, as well.
