You’re right. They don’t understand and they don’t want to understand because if they did they’d have to admit their core beliefs were wrong and they will never will. Too much ego at play. You can’t reason with them because their beliefs aren’t based in reason. Likewise that’s why facts and evidence make no difference to them because they reject logic and cause and effect.
