she is regarded as a natural born citizen under the 14th Amendment of the Constitution

I see no such wording in the 14th Amendment. I see "born" or "naturalized", but not "natural born".

The intent of the writers of the 14th Amendment was to make sure that freemen were recognized as both citizens of the U.S. and citizens of their state. They never dreamed of women from Mexico and points south having children in the U.S. who immediately gained citizenship.

But that ship apparently has sailed. As for the Founders’ intent on ‘natural-born’ citizen, that ship sailed with the inauguration of the President before Trump.
