Even with the brief remote questioning he’s gotten in his home studio, I think he’s trying to read cue cards or hastily scribbled notes right by the camera.
I saw such a clip just today, I think I could see his eyes moving while giving an ostensibly off the cuff answer.
I would love to see a real shot of how many handlers are in the room when the camera’s rolling.
