I am from Savannah. There is a chunk of the area around Broughton that is very similar to SanFran. The regular folks in Savannah live South of Gaston St.

Savanna, Ga. is not really a part of Georgia. Savanna is Savanna and considers itself to be a separate entity. In a way, it is like San Fran and Austin, and Asheville, and Berkeley. The beach is nice.
