Why should I make any defense? The headline looks like a rhetorical question and is meant to entice readers to read on.

Many headlines are of this nature and the answers are usually NO to the question in many cases.

Now, my question to you is this,what is your defense for accusing the author of being an apoligist for the CCP? There is none. Jim Geraghty is a well known even tempered conservative writer.

The same question is in fact highlighted in a full section of the article IN BOLD, and carefully analyzed and answered.

There is no excuse for jumping into an unwarranted conclusion without reading the article.
