There is FAR TOO MUCH government as it is.
BTW, my state Montana, the legislature meets for three months every other year. The legislators get paid a stipend and a daily living expense while they are in session. Then they get $0.00 for the remaining 21 months of their terms. No such thing as a professional legislator in this state.
