These are all so freaking stupid!
The President and VP are elected by 538 electors, appointed by 50 State Legislatures (and 3 by Congress since 1960).
Whatever happens with the lameass idiots voting process in November, the legislatures will do their duty, the new Congress will count the electoral votes, and a new term for President and VP will begin at noon on January 20, 2021.
It is not being stupid. If you read the scenario I posted, how would the electors come to a conclusion, and would it be argued in the courts?
Vote for members of the House of Representatives could also be a huge mess with lengthy legal wrangling.
