Because the prosecution has pushed for a murder charge presumably by bodily trauma, this autopsy is devastating to their case. All it takes is one juror to conclude that it is impossible to commit murder by bodily trauma without creating injuries and there is a hung jury. Combine this with potentially lethal amounts of fentanyl in George's system as alternative explanation for his death, the prosecution is going to have a tough or impossible case to prove.

I'm guessing that the prosecutors don't amend the charges and press for the murder charge initially and the court returns either a not guilty verdict or there is a hung jury. Then the prosecutors amend the changes and go for some excessive force charge where they might be successful in getting a verdict.
