It probably is if your location is turned on. But the wuhan app is probably not unless you turn it on.

I've been watching this on youtube. It seems first they put the app on your phone, some under settings, some under Google, and now apparently under Bing. It does not track until the next update, which then will activate the tracker. There are some instruction videos depending on your type of phone, but essentially you have to uninstall updates to get rid of it.

Android put one on my phone. I quickly sought advice to turn it off.

I suggest your next phone will not have the option in allowing you to turn it off, so you should probably replace your phone very soon so you still have that option.

I read an article awhile back that Android and Apple both have them after they did updates some time in the past, I know mine is off (for now) but when you go to settings and then choose google, it shows a covid tracker. Everybody I have told with an Android looked and it was there. My mom said her Iphone has it also but not sure how to find in on an Apple phone.
