He’s standing in front of the grill of my 6500 Lb, Up Armored with a cow catcher SUV threatening me with a handgun? He’s expecting what?! Am I going to get out of the car? I’m going to surrender my vehicle? Are you kidding!!??
No... I’m going to duck behind the dash, slam the gas and anyone in the way is going see a spinning axle inside of 1 second. Instead of going to the Car Wash, I’m going to the nearest Police Station to report the incident. Or Turn myself in because they’ve likely already heard about it. These idiots demanding the defunding of the police department will most certainly have called to report the incident. They’ll be whining to the police “Oh someone ran over a “Mostly Peaceful protester!!”. Probably when they walk into the station they’ll still be wearing a BLM teeshirt carrying a big “Defund the PoPo!” sign. I’ll go to court, and take the consequences to live another day. Let a jury of my peers decide if that was a justifiable action.

Agreed. Blocking my path, pulling a firearm on me? I consider that reasonable fear of grievous bodily harm or death. I will exit that situation at full throttle, over him. He probably doesn’t realize how lucky he is, he should be dead.

I have taken very specific training from several different agencies on what to do in these situations.
And the most interesting demonstration I took part in was just like this. The driver dropped down behind the engine block and floored the vehicle. Bullets from a pistol nor a rifle were able to penetrate the engine block and the persons holding the weapons would have been paste, especially in front of the grille of that truck.
