I remember an Amish family travelling to town in horse and buggy..on the road we traveled by car in the mid 1950s...in Washington state.
Don’t’ they still do that? I had a friend who lived in Allentown tell me something about that.
In 2012 when I returned to Kansas to see relatives, my wife and I saw an Amish couple in a horse drawn buggy near the town of Yoder between Wichita and Hutchinson.
