I really think football will be dropped at a ton of colleges due to the fact that it is so costly.... we'll be down to 20 colleges with competitive teams....should be fun....NOT!

The power 5 should all be in good shape; the Pac8/10/12/? now being the weakest of them. Notre Dame playing an ACC schedule should give that conference a boost.

A lot of the weak programs will take a big hit this year from losing out on a payday game.

And 20 colleges with competitive teams isn't far from normal.

May 29, 2020: During the 2019 Fiscal Year, Stanford withdrew $1.3 billion from the endowment (about 5% of the total value of the fund) to cover more than a fifth of the university’s total operating expenses

The clowns in the BlackHawk uniforms should look up the history of Chief Black Sparrow Hawk, who the team is named after. He was not exactly a peaceful community organizer.

And these guys do not deserve to be carrying his name or his image on their uniforms. Maybe somebody from the Heckawi tribe would be a better role model.

Isn’t Phil Knight still an Oregon Booster. Just ask him for the loan. All they’d have to do is agree to play all Oregon PAC-12 football games in Eugene.

20 colleges with competitive teams NEED all those patsy teams to make them look good....its like the Yankees of old....they don’t exist in a vacuum...they needed teams to beat up continually.

It now makes sense to me why The Rock bought the XFL yesterday. There will be a large pool of talent coming from colleges shutting down their football programs.

From what I have been told, men’s basketball breaks even at most D1 schools. Football has to pay for everything else. How much is a plane ride to LA for the softball team?

I approve sending Seguin and Dickinson to the expansion Seattle Kraken next year.

UCLA will long for the days they “packed” in 45,000 fans into their 92,000 seat capacity (Rose Bowl) stadium.
