Can someone explain to me why we are doing this exclusive within Conference re-scheduling thing to fight Covid? I don’t get it.
Another reason is that it's a heck of a lot easier to shuffle games around if some need to be cancelled due to covid. OOC games are generally governed by legal contracts. The conference office can move a conference game around or cancel it any time they want to.
Another reason to do conference-only is that OOC games are meaningless as far as divisional champion selection is concerned, and the most important thing to a lot of people is to pick a conference champion in December.
