You are right. By protecting the federal building, which is his responsibility, in a way that proved successful forced the rioters to give up, and as they have nothing to do at the moment, he has forced them to go back to the tact they can handle as they now attack the police which are local level and under the control of state government. And we obviously know those weak minded, spineless morons at the state level will do nothing to stop it. So they have decided to get back into what they can handle. They couldn’t handle the feds. And that was Trump’s fault. Bad ol’ Trump. He displayed he is smarter than states governments and does his job better than they do to display their ineptness. (Although being smarter than liberal governors is not a big feather for the cap)
