Plus a lot of Drs don’t even tell their patients on statins to take CoQ10 to help prevent mitochondrial dysfunction affecting the muscles.

True. Good point. The cure from the problems caused by the statin cure. Eventually it’s like the nerve-wracked judge in the great comedy What’s Up Doc?
“I take the yellow, green and red pills for my health symptoms and the orange ones and these two over here for the problems caused by taking the first pills. And I have no idea what this pill is for. I think they’re afraid to tell me.”

I asked my doctor about that once. He said it’s not an issue, at least for me.

When Fox had Dr Samadi on a Sunday AM show awhile back, he strongly advised that anybody taking a statin must also take CoQ10 . He considered it absolutely necessary. It is OTC and comes in different strengths. Husband figured out what he needed for his prescription statin and has used it for some years. He gives me a lower strength tho I do not take any statins. He had developed weak muscles and body strength which cleared up after he started the CoQ10. Dr. Samadi has an interesting resume on the Internet.
