Haven’t read all the way down yet.. but, on a conservative show (I think it was Dana Leasch) a few minutes ago, it was said that it was nitrates that they had (for some stupid reason) stored next to a fireworks factory that accidentally went off...

It is all guess work at this time...
We may or may not ever know depending on the real cause. What I am sure of is that A) it was not nuclear, B) not fireworks, C) not a air dropped bomb.
D - it was one massive explosion.
(Anyone that grew up in the 1950s would know how to “duck and cover” not that anyone had time for it.
