If I let myself think about this, I get absolutely enraged. DeWine is a little POS never Trumper who is ruling as a dictator, with absolutely no personal impact from his stupid decisions.

What DeWine is doing is unethical at best, possibly illegal, but no one in the power structure in Ohio will challenge him. Furthermore, the media has convinced a substantial number of Ohioans that DeWine is right in what he’s doing, and they should obey at all costs.

FUMD

I am sorry to hear that.

We have a few brave legislators stepping-up and challenging Tom Wolf’s overreach here in PA. Likely not enough to stop him, but they’re fighting.

I am really disappointed in DeWine.

My son worked at a similar arcade type bar in Columbus. He used to love his job. He made good money as a bartender there. He had flexible hours and it that was important because his other job in the entertainment industry required him to travel extensively for weeks at a time.

Now both jobs are gone. The arcade bar reopened mid-June at 25% occupancy allowed. Lots of new procedures and protocols, so it hasn’t been well-attended. So his hours have been severely impacted.

Just last week, he found out that he’s been laid off again. The arcade is barely making it.

This place used to be so popular. It was a fun place to go. The business model was so successful (before CoVid) that the company was in the process of opening new locations in several surrounding states.

Now my son has to look for a new line of work. The entertainment industry is kaput, and the bars can’t make ends meet.

We were hoping that he would have enough hours to make ends meet while he figures out his next steps. He’s not the type to sit behind a desk, either in the classroom or the workplace.
