Had it on the right side of my head. Lost 25% of my hearing in that ear. Still suffering from PHN like you. I just use lidocaine topical ointment when it flares up.

Well, mine is a burning sensation on my left forehead, always feeling like I’ve socked in the and pain in the eye.
Couple times a week it feels like the skin is falling off the left side above my ear.
Lidocaine can’t touch all that and really my eye is the most troubling part....
So bad sometimes I have to stop what I’m doing for a few minutes to an hour or so and then I get tired like I’m sleepy...
