“I love the times when nobody locked the doors. We use to go on vacations for two weeks and leave the doors unlocked.”
I remember that so well. People were much more decent and honest then. Of course, prayer still was in schools; church (not soccer) was on Sunday; dads were providers and moms were actual mothers. So much has changed that will never return.
“We use to go on vacations for two weeks”
You might still get 2 weeks, but they want you to take it one day at a time.
I got out of college in 1979, so I was fortunate enough to experience corporate America when it was fully under the control of white men. It was a much better place to work than today.
