Fraternities today are very diverse and full of gay men (for obvious reasons). They are objecting to people that don’t adhere to their beliefs. There is no room for dissension with liberals.

Any person who does not want to remain in a fraternity or sorority because of an alleged lack of diversity should be encouraged to leave greek life entirely so that those persons can feel good about themselves for making a political point. That would hold true for so called black fraternities and sororities as well, which are a lot less diverse to begin with. Quotas should be established by the schools, where each greek organization must ensure an equal percentage of departures from all “black” and “non-black” organizations.

I’m not sure why people are freaking out over this. There’s 2100+ members and only 200 left? Across all fraternities and sororities? That could easily be made up in one pledge class. This is just more propaganda to bolster the lie that some grand revolution is taking place at the grassroots level across America. It’s not. This is a technocratic, elite driven “revolution”. We’ll see in November how “grassroots” it is.

When I was in college 30 years ago, it always kind of shocked me how many sorority girls were uber-liberals, at least politically. Not all, certainly, but a lot more than I was expecting... partly because the tenets and agenda of liberalism were so at odds with these girls’ actual lifestyle. I mean even 30 years ago, liberalism was supposedly all about promoting fairness, equality and advancement for nonwhite people, poor people & the downtrodden in general. Nontheless, the girls at Tri-Delta etc were nearly all rich, white doctors’ daughters from wealthy suburbs hanging out with other rich, white doctors’ daughters from wealthy suburbs. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but if you go around pretending to be a great liberal ally of nonwhite people, poor people & the downtrodden, but you have zero interest in such people in real-life, you’re kind of a phony, right?
In other words. Members of the smarmy indignantly self-important effete neo-aristocracy.
