Guess that’s how Denver - 54% white still - ends up with a black guy as mayor who then appoints a black guy to be Sheriff. Black people are 8% of that city, they’re vastly outnumbered by Mexicans - er, “hispanics” - at 30%.
Eventually you can just invert the concept of an election. Just call the win for the guy with the least votes - to ensure “equity”!

Good grief. I am amazed they don't have a whole department with divisions spread around the State of Colorado. Where else are all these folks who gradiated from collage with no other job skill going to get jobs.
