The all to depressing message of this piece is the tragedy of drug use in the entertainment industry. Particularly the music field.
Far too many great artist have had their talents taken away if not their life through drug use.

Peter Green's incarnation of
Fleetwood Mac was perhaps the best raw, original blues to come from the UK in the 60's, particularly by the time of
Then Play On. The Green, Danny Kirwan/Jeremy Spencer, John McVie, Mick Fleetwood lineup was a powerhouse.
