I agree with you that Dershowitz undermines his own credibility when he seems to also be defending Clinton, the sleazebag Prince Andrew etc.
And YET, it makes me wonder if the evidence of Clinton’s many flights to Pedo Island is actually rock-solid. Dershowitz knows MUCH MORE than any of us, and he seems to be “Hanging his hat” on this evidence being false.
I am NOT DEFENDING ANYBODY ... except voicing my opinion, if I were on a Jury and heard Dersh ... and in the absence of the other side’s evidence and witnesses ... and in full knowledge that as a defense attorney he is an accomplished and professional LIAR ... that I find his voice credible.
Maybe someone deeper into this rabbit hole than I am could verify or refute the evidence of Clinton’s many visits to the island. To me, this goes right to the credibility of Dershowitz’ assertions of innocence.
A) Epstein did get convicted over this stuff.
B) The pool is so wide and deep he’s probably, like many, thinking he’ll ride this down until some sort of “cavalry” rides in to save the day (‘Rat victory, revolution etc...
C) He could be a sociopath too...
Between treason and committing heinous crimes against minors along with gobs of regular corruption, EVERYONE on the dark side of this has to be “all in”. There’s no follow up here, there’s no coming out the other side having flipped and assisted the Republic’s patriots and having anything resembling their former lives even. If someone like Dershowitz did this stuff he goes from pinnacle of society to scum on the bottom of the shoes of even run of the mill criminals.
So you can bet that they are going to fight tooth and nail and sound like learned scholars of yore in their defense and protestations but I’d be willing to bet that as soon as the dam sports cracks and gives way they are going to be like Berlin in the last few days of the Third Reich. There will be bender/orgies followed by everyone eating bullets and cyanide, people offing their families and themselves. Walking off in the ocean, etc...
Per the “No Deals” commentary, there’s not going to be any witness protection program/new identity. At best it’s going to be “make a statement to clear your soul” and then it’s either bedside gun or pills time to spare the spouse/kids.
