I wonder how many of the "excess deaths" people talk about are collateral damage rather than due to the virus myself. I believe my 90-year-old father would still be alive if he hadn't been shut away from the people who loved him and took him outside for exercise. I recently talked with a woman in New York whose mother died when, to make room for COVID patients, she was moved into a more isolated part of the retirement she was in, where no one could visit her. She didn't have COVID, but she died within a week of the move.
I also wonder how many people would have died from the purported side effects of HCQ if it had been broadly distributed. Given HCQ's innocuous nature and long experience, it surely wouldn't have been the 100K+ that have been attributed to COVID.

Someday someone will produce a credible history of this biological attack on the U.S. and the way it was made so much worse by the hyper-politicization of it by the left, who think EVERYTHING is SOLELY about political power.
