For how long?
Did it work for 3 months?
What are these people going to be like in 5 years after they have long since established tolerance and dependency, and then miss a week of drinking tap water?
Also, how much? IF it's so negligible that you don't have to worry about rebound, then who is it helping? People who should need intervention?
If it's a lot, well I say, BRILLIANT.
You know what else would lower suicide rates? G-23 Paxilon Hydrochlorate. /vague movie reference

Lithium messes ones stomach up, and doesn't necessarily have a significant theraputic effect.
Ask me how I know.

Almost any depressed person with suicide ideation IMHO should be on a small dose of lithium along with their other meds. Lately been wondering if there is a dearth of lithium in the soil of the Pacific Northwest and if the drinking water has little or none. Patients with agitated depressions behave like these rioters and politicians.

Another pile of steaming crap from Soros “science.”

Great, they can add it to the tranquilizers that have been put in city drinking water for decades. That is the only reason I can see for the passivity of most city people who will continue to take all the crap dished out by the left.

The best practice is don’t drink tap water. It’s not your grandad’s tap water. About 7 years ago we switched from bottled spring water to a Big Berkey gravity water filtration system. It takes out everything including arsenic and flouride and I’m sure lithium also. Best $219 we ever spent.

Lithium has other uses. Evidently it is necessary in small amounts for certain B vitamins to be absorbed by the body. My doctor put me on a very low dose when supplementing didn’t get rid of a B12 deficiency.
