Saw this morning where the area around Chengdu may get over 1 meter of rain this week. Chengdu is upstream from the 3 Gorges Dam.

Good thing our people left the US embassy.....might be the real reason it was closed..... if 3 gorges dam goes, and it’s already barely holding it’s own, then it’ll be a world wide felt event.
