Apparently they test drugs on the African population first because they have less stringent regulations.

Same here. I am not anti-vax, but the US has never produced a safe vaccine in under a year. The FDA will be under intense pressure to approve it, regardless of what side effects it may have, some of which could be dangerous for those with pre-existing conditions. I will happily take the vaccine...after many others have come through it okay.
