Apparently not. I have 2 immediate family members who are long time, hard core democrats, one a lifetime union member.
They still firmly believe Ted Cruz shut down the gov’t in 2013. Even though the only way that could happen is if he cast vote #51 against tbe budget bill. There was no vote, Harry Reid tabled it.
They believe Obama was the greatest thing since sliced bread, had the most fantastic economy in history, and would have fixed health care for good if Trump hadn’t “destroyed everything Obama accomplished”. Yes that’s a direct quote.
They watch CBS and PBS for “news” exclusively, and believe every word they are spoon fed by those lying turds. If I say a word against Obama or democrats in general, they get indignant and throw fits, but they can insult Trump all day and that’s fine...Say Trump’s name and they spend the next 3 minutes telling me what a “horrible little man” he is. Another direct quote.
And they firmly believe they are right. Mention the election...but Hillary won the popular vote...mention Trump’s economy...he just takes credit for what Obama did...carried a gun in the truck for years but I don’t need one...
