Chupacabra cousin maybe. The chups are in Mexico.
I had a stray that had been living wild before I found her when I was a kid.
She ate just about everything and used to husk coconuts and break them open for the milk and meat and once ate an avocado the size of a football from a neighbor’s tree.
When we moved to NC she ate blueberries and blackberries from the bush and vine.

Our blue heeler loved blackberries. He would go pick them with us. I watched him carefully wrinkle up his nose so he didn't get caught by the thorns and pick them with his teeth. We would finally send him home because he was getting all the good ones!
WISHING that I could find some GOOD/BIG avocados like that. - I’d fight your dog for them.
(The size we get around here are the sort, like baseball size, that CA farmers fed to their pigs, when I was TDY out there years ago.)
Fyi, the first 60 days that I was TDY out there we made avocado salad nearly every day & I like them FINE with just lime juice too.
(My neighbor had a mango tree & I was really popular, as I brought lots of them to work for everyone to munch on, too.)
Note: Mangos make GOOD moonshine. - REALLY GREAT.

Avacados are one of the few foods you could survive on if that was the only thing available.
They are extremely fattening.
