I have a friend in Portland that told me exactly that. His inclination is to vote for the new moron, just to spite the old one. He has no good choices, other than to leave.
I haven’t checked for Portland, but that crazy DA in San Francisco needed less than 90k votes to win. That seems very little for a city that size, so it looks like people don’t care enough to vote.
