Question?
You need to have a prescription for Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ)
Vitamin Z, C and D are available over the counter.
Does it do any good just to take the vitamins and at what dosages?
You can check Dr. John Campbell on YouTube about supplements, but basically more than the US RDA.
I take Zinc 50 mg, C 1000 mg, D 2000-5000 IU (50-125mcg).
Vary your D intake if you spend time in the sun.
They charge something like $60 consulting fee, and Zelenko makes no $ off of it. It's a lifesaver.
If you want to try to make do with something other than HCQ, you might try the standard Zinc/Quercetin capsules. (Quercetin is a Zinc ionophore, like HCQ.
) The brand I take (got it via Amazon.com) has the "equiv." of 22 mg elemental zinc and 800 mg quercetin per serving (which is two capsules.)
So six capsules on the first day, in divided servings, as a loading dose. Then three capsules a day for the next 5 days should do ya. Throw in some daily Vitamin D 250 mcg (10,000 IU) there as well. Vitamin C too, at the first sign of flu 1,000 mg every hour for the first 6 hours and then 1,000 mg three times daily. You can bump that up a little if you can tolerate it (if you don't get diarrhea) or scale it down if you ~do~ get diarrhea. Don't want that.
I am not a doctor and this is not a prescription and I make no claims.
Don't forget your best bet is that TeleMed link. You know the dosages will be right, and they have tons o' clinical experience.
