[I owned a PA-32 for about 15 years, sold a couple of years ago....
Great aircraft, my kids grew up flying all over the SE US....
They were true tarmac rats.....
My oldest daughter went to the Air Force Academy as a result Of our love of aviation....
Prayers for the family......]


Sad that this entire family will likely be the subject of a collective obituary.

What was your secret for flying your own plane routinely while keeping everyone safe? It’s not for nothing that standard term life insurance only covers commercial flights.

Training.... training...training..
Always watch your fuel levels and weather....
If in doubt, sit it out....
Also, there are plenty of life insurance companies that will write the policy, but you must declare prior that you are an active pilot...
That stated, in 15 years I had to declare 2 inflight emergencies.....both were mechanical failures.....
