OK. No doubt you saw what you saw and you are a reliable, honest observer. Did you or anyone calculate the position of the international space station, other large orbiting objects, the angle of the sun and your position and altitude? Was it all plotted? Just asking. BTW you served honorably and that alone gives you credibility.
Thank you, sincerely.
That shadow was about 200yrds across, was deeply dark and with sharply defined edge, indicating it was close to the ground. If it had blurry edges and not as dark as it was, maybe something much higher. We never could see it and we interacted with it (flying an intercept course and it stopped/started instantaneously), that was spectacular.
The Brigades intel guy, Paul Smith, interviewed me and the other pilot. He just came from the classified Star Gate program, and was assessing if we were nut-balls, if we would be the type to believe everything or be hard-core skeptics and deny anything we saw. In me he figured out I was neither. I simple saw something, couldn’t figure it out and left it as it was; something we saw and left it at that.
I was a good candidate for the Star Gate program, apparently. I was offered a choice, go back to flying fighters or learn to “use the force Luke.” I went back to flying fighters.
Who knows what it was? Not me and I won’t guess because I simply don’t know or have any clue.
