Where I live (Buffalo NY) people eat chicken wings as substantive food both in bars and at home (delivered).

I guarantee you, nobody in Buffalo considers chicken wings below sandwiches on the substantive food scale.

Yes, they are “casual” food, but filling and desirable as a meal (with celery and carrot sticks, and absolutely blue cheese dressing).

Reminds me when carpet-bagger Hildebeast blew into town and kept referring to us in the western NY region as “the people of Niagara.” NO one ever uses that term here or even heard of it.

Like Il Duce, totally out of touch , arrogant, condescending and STUPID.
