“A new kind of team” Yikes!
Washington was a slaveowner, and “established in the 1930’s” oh man, lots of racially uncool stuff was going on back then.
It is kind of a clever way to both pay homage to George Washington, and not fully change/rebrand to a totally new identity. As name, I agree lame, but as a political statement, it's interesting. Same colors same name, just shorter.
