#1417 I’ve seen the video. The rioters walk past the car, then return and surround the car. Then 5 rifle shots are heard, followed a couple of seconds later by 3 shots from what are the handgun.
The car was not moving during that time.
Anyone claiming the five rifleshots were as the car was leaving is not being honest.
I now understand that the dead guy pointed the rifle at the driver so the driver shot him 5 times. Then took off and somebody took three shots at him as he escaped. Then he called police. Your mileage may vary.

Also, there was a 2nd protester with a gun that shot at the car as it was driving away. That protestor was also questioned and the firearms removed from them. I’m not sure it it was a him or her. I’m going to assume another him.
Thank you all for helping clear the picture of the shooting in Austin. Twitter had me completely bumfuddled even thru ignoring obvious derps. Makes more sense now even with missing info.
